Every 3–6 months, depending on water quality and usage. Households with harder water or more frequent use should replace closer to 3 months. You'll notice reduced pressure or a slight change in water smell when it's time.
Check the sticker on your current filter cartridge — it will say 15-Stage or 20-Stage. Both filters fit the same Founte showerhead body and swap in under 30 seconds.
Absolutely. The cartridges are interchangeable. If your water feels harder lately or you've moved to a new home, upgrading to the 20-Stage is a great idea.
Unscrew the bottom cap of your Founte showerhead, pull out the old cartridge, slide in the new one, and screw the cap back on. No tools needed — takes about 30 seconds.
Yfs. All Founte filter packaging is made from recycled cardboard with no plastic film. The filter cartridge itself can be recycled through most plastics programs.
