The Showerhead

Yes. Founte uses standard ½-inch NPT threading, which is universal across virtually all residential shower arms in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. If your current showerhead screws onto a pipe coming from the wall, Founte will fit.

No plumber needed. Unscrew your old showerhead, screw on Founte, hand-tight plus a quarter turn. That's it. The whole install takes under two minutes and requires no tools.

Founte comes in Chrome and Matte Black. Both finishes are available with the 15-Stage or 20-Stage filter — you choose at checkout.

Founte is engineered to maintain strong water pressure. The filter media are packed to minimize flow restriction. Most customers report the same or better pressure than their previous showerhead, especially in areas with heavy mineral buildup that can clog unfiltered heads.

If your water feels hard, leaves white scale deposits, or dries out your skin, the 20-Stage is the right choice.

Founte removes or significantly reduces: chlorine, chloramine, sediment, rust, heavy metals (lead, mercury, copper), bacteria, hydrogen sulfide, scale-forming calcium and magnesium (20-Stage), and other organic compounds. It also balances pH and re-mineralizes water with beneficial trace elements.

Every 3–6 months depending on water quality and usage. Households with harder water or more frequent showering should replace closer to 3 months. You'll notice a slight reduction in pressure or a faint change in water smell when the filter is spent.

Yes. Both cartridges are interchangeable in the same Founte showerhead. If you move, if your water changes, or if you just want to try the upgrade — swap in a new cartridge in 30 seconds.
